Anti-Virus networkinstaller do not work

Have a eMachines laptop, model eMG620 with Vista SP1. Simple problem: installer downloaded from F-Secure do not start as was told. Any idea about problem causing this malfunction? Thanks very many!

How I can to remember - F-Secure AV (or SAFE/IS) required SP2 for Windows Vista.

Your description have words about SP1 (so.. maybe this is reason) and if you able to upgrade your machine (get SP2-update) probably installer should work.

But basically.. Networkinstaller should to tell something at launch.

And maybe will be good to report this as support-request/ticket:

What if there something else can be as additional trouble-point.

I have moved your post to the relevant board for Anti-Virus product. Like what @Ukko has said, F-Secure Anti-Virus needs Windows Vista SP2 or newer to install and run the product. Please check the list of supported OS in the product page here.
