Slow speed from Finland

Hi, how can I get the speed back the way it was? I live in the US and watch Finnish TV.  This has worked well but for the last couple of days the speed has been very slow. I can hear audio but the picture does not play. I've reset the VPN connection. Thanks!

Does it happen at all the times or intermittently or during a particular time only?

Mostly in the evenings, I've noticed.  Here about 6 pm and so in Finland 3 am.

This article might explain a bit more about the situation. Our teams are constantly monitoring the traffic on our virtual locations. If one of the virtual locations is used very actively by other users, it may slow down the network speed.

@hansu, please try again now, and report if it's better. A network layer issue was fixed at this gateway site on Thursday morning (2016-03-10 04:10 UTC). A malfunctioning device was removed from the network. The performance in the evenings should be much better now, especially for iOS (iPad, iPhone) clients where the issue was most visible.

 

We're sorry for the trouble, it took too long to locate the source of the problem. It was a bit challenging to find this one – it was not of the usual "too few servers" or "not enough Internet capacity" type which we can foresee and measure easily.
