Connectivity from different exit locations varies

Using Freedome on Win10.

 

If my exit is Finland, I can't get the game, EVE online, to connect. This has changed in the last week, it used to work properly, now my connection to the servers the game uses has not worked for at least 3 days. I have to set my exit to be for example Stockholm, and then I can get the launcher to connect and everything works properly. That of course creates other issues, like for example the F-Secure site being in Swedish :)

    Depending on your actual physical location, speed might indeed vary. This is mostly due to the routing of the traffic. See this article on the topic.

     

    Could you tell us what is your exit IP address when you have the problem in Finland's virtual location?

    Yes, speed isn't so much the problem right now, but routing. I am getting somewhere when looking with tracert:
