Browser protection extension stops Chrome working

Frequently when I try and load a Chrome window (including the Google front page) it freezes waiting for the Fsecure browsing extension (it says at bottom of page). This can only be resolved by re-booting the computer completely. Any solutions?

Did you already try to reinstall the extension? 

To do so just go in the user interface to Browsing Protection>Settings>Browser Extension and select Reinstall extensions.

 

If that doesn't help, you might want to open a support ticket here so that we can take a better look at the problem.
