Change of Freedome DNS

I noted after the install of Freedome (Windows 10), the TAP DNS was set to obtain DNS auto, whilst the text 'Freedome' was set in the DNS settings in my network adapter. I deleted the text 'Freedome' and set in OpenDNS servers. I am not able to get back to inserting 'Freedome' in the network adapor DNS field. If I set DNS to auto in both TAP and the network adapter, the PC is using my local ISP DNS. I tried un/install of Freedome, no avail. Am I OK to use OpenDNS servers? Or, how do I get about inserting 'Freedome' in the network adaptor field as originally installed? Thanks
