Freedome and the "smart multi-homed name resolution" service in Windows 10

I read that the service called "smart multi-homed name resolution" can leak the sites you visit, for example, to your ISP. In Windows 10 the service sends DNS requests in parallel to all available network interfaces and uses the fastest reply to come, so all DNS requests doesn't go through the VPN tunnel.

Does the Freedome client software deal this problem automatically or should I disable the service manually to prevent this leak?
