Mac OS X El Capitan Freedome Menubar

Hey guys, I don't know if I'm the only one experiences this issue, but Freedome's icon in the Menubar occassionally goes invisible. This only started occuring after I upgraded to El Capitan.

 

Also, would it be possible to make the UI in the menubar more interactive? I love it as it is, but I'd rather use Freedome from the menubar than it's own dedicated app; the dedicated app is awesome and the UX is brilliant too, so it's not really a big deal.
