Find my iphone not working with freedom enabled

As Freedome is very strict, or in other words: dont allow whitelisting any sites, services or apps, it gets pretty useless very quick.

 

Most recent learning: If freedome is enabled and you try to use "find my iphone" (or that of a family member having freedome installed and enabled) you wont get any results as all related traffic is blocked.

 

I wonder that Apple allowed this passing the app store.

 

Please advise.
