manually database update

Since 2012, I can't update F-Secure using latest zip on this page : http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/labs_global/removal/databases

 

This link  (http://download.f-secure.com/latest/latest.zip) seems to be broken.

Please can you help me?

Latest.zip was for AVP-signatures and are no longer provided since 31.12.2011

 

What have you been using before 2012?

why are they no longer provided?

Development AVP based engine has been discontinued over theree years ago and the last products that were based on that engine do no longer get support since Mid October 2011.

 

The new engines are mor powerfull, ligher, faster and protect better against todays threads.

 

All new products either use fsdbupdate or fsdbupdate9.

Thank you for your explanations. I'm searching for a new anti-virus.

 

F-Secure is the best off all with Kaspersky.

I agree with you. I am currently running F-Secure and would like to add Kaspersky with it.

no way, having two AVs at the same time is unrealistic
