Windows media center window keeps poppin up, F-Secure do not find virus

When one of users of my computer tries to use computer, every application seems to pop up a windows media center window. When he tires to shut the window, it pops up once again. Under his user name also clicking of F-Secure icon (for scan) only opens a windows media center window.

It is possible to scan computer with F-Secure Internet Security with other user name, but it does not find any virus. Could it be a virus anyway? There are no similar problems with other user names in the same computer.

The computer with a problem was far away from me, so it took some time to get to it. Since I was busy, I scanned the possibly infected computer with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware -program in Safe Mode (see https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100417165342AAxB02H). It found some files with "Ask" string in the file names and I quaranteed them. However, the Media Center window kept on popping up when clicked any executable file. So, with the help of answers.microfoft.com I disabled Windows Media Center (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/how-to-remove-windows-media-center-on-windows-7/b01fddc0-3999-4b02-a562-c2c24242c033). ( I was not able to restore an earlier state of the computer). Then I had to change all icons on the desktop back to normal .

Some web sites say, that Windows Media Center virus opens a fake Media center window, but my Media center windows stopped popping up, when I disabled the actual program with administrator user name. So, i do not know if it was a virus or bug in a computer.
