Disconnect after few minutes

in Privacy VPN

After i connect to the vpn i open one online game, the game disconnected after few minutes.

I tried to reconnect the vpn and other server. (singapore, hong kong)

My internet provider have limited access to gaming sites.

I can go to gaming website after i connected to the vpn throught the websites but cant connect to the online game server.

    Could you tells us which game is blocked? Also was the connexion to the server ever possible?

    Steam > Dota 2
    Both cant connect to the server

    Hello gamerzws,

     

    According to Steam TOS:

    "You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, we may terminate your access to your Account."

     

    It is therefore more than possible that they are using restrictions to block the access from VPN's.

    Nope because i have tried other vpn services to connect to steam server before.

    I plan to change because the ping is not stable.

    the first is my own wifi, the second appear after i connected to the vpn, is it normal that show no internet access?

    Let me clarify what Ben meant.

     

    Steam will blacklist IP addresses from known VPNs such as F-secure. This mean you will be unable to access their system using a known VPN.

     

    Also should also be mentioned that it breaks the terms and conditions of both F-secure and Steam.

    I tested all the server, 10 out of 17 can connect to steam server.

    there is no way to connect to the steam server with other vpn server?

    Hello gamerzws,

     

    Did you note down which virtual locations are allowing to connect to steam servers?

    Restrictions should not be on Freedome side.
