how can i know when VPN opened icon and free network joined icon on ios phones?

    If your device is on at least iOS 8 you can see the little box in the top left that says VPN. It will be next to the Wifi icon. If it is not showing the icon may being having issues. You can also test by opening an IP locater such as whatismyip. If it is showing the location you had set with Freedome it is working and you may need to update your iOS device as the VPN icon is what is not working. If Freedome claims to be on but your IP address is showing your actual location please let us know and we can continue troubleshooting.
