f-secure says my web site is harmful, but no information on what exactly it has a problem with

I cannot get support for my web site because of your "Harmful" rating, nor can I find out from any of your sites why it is considered harmful.

It is a joomla 1.7.3 site running all sorts of security, event booking, facebookwall, and photo display software so a diagnostic page would be helpful.

And what am I supposed to do if it is a false positive?

any suggestions as to what I do now?

  • Hi Jay44,

Our Response Labs have checked out the site and verified it was a false positive. The rating is fixed to "safe" now.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by the false positive.

    Have a nice day!

We are a developer for interactive modules that mostly get coded in flash. We do encrypt our flash modules before our clients are using them. For this we use several tools such as SWF encrypt.

Every time we encrypt Actionscript 3.0 modules, our clients get an malware alert which is definitely a false positive.

One of our CDN which is "web3000.crocon-media.net" seems to be blacklisted in your software.

We are sinking in support inquiries because of this.

It would be very helpful, if this issue gets solved asap.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hello Dario,

Did you already provided the mentioned URL and owner's feedback to the link provided earlier? Did you already receive any feedback from our lab?

  • Hello Dario,

I contacted myself our teams to get the URL re-rated. Here is their reply.

"The submitted website has been now verified to be clean and the appropriate rating has been updated.

We apologize for any inconveniences caused . "

I hope that your false positive issue is now resolved.

    Cheers
