How do I scan my Windows phone

When I press icon it takes me to a web page when I want to scan my Windows 8 mobile?

    Hello Miles,

     

    The product F-Secure Safe for WindowsPhone 8 doesn't include a scanning option.

    The web page you are directed to is most likely the homepage of the product.

    Hello,

     

    Apple and the Microsoft Mobile branch think that malware on their handhelds is impossible, since they operate on the "walled-garden" prinicple and the user has to "jailbreak" his/her device, before getting hacked or infected becomes possible. Based on this philosophy, Apple and MS do not provide API for anti-virus development on their handhels and are actively opposed to any such efforts.

     

    On the other hand, Android has the open market approach, which makes it vulnerable and necessitates the use of antivirus scanners on mobile devices.
