super safe boost issue
Hi,
I was with TalkTalk and used their antivirus package but changed to Vrigin a few months ago, I have tried many times unsuccessfully to install Virgin's F-safe package but it keeps saying i need to uninstall Super Safe Boost (part of TalkTalk package) from my laptop first but there is no super safe boost to delete, there is however a TalkTalk tab that wont allow me to delete and it has security tabs attached so im assuming it's in there.
Does anyone know how i can get round this, I have tried to restore my laptop but it only goes back 4 weeks so that's no use.
I am using my laptop with avg security right now but that runs out the end of this month.
Thank you for any suggestions

Have you checked in Control Panel > Programs to see if the Talk Talk software is listed? If so, you can hopefully remove it from there.
Once that's done, you'll need to fully remove AVG before installing F-Secure, preferably using their uninstall tool, which you may find a link to here:

Hi,
Yes i did that earlier today, there is no TalkTalk listed in the installed programs but when i type TalkTalk into the "search programs and files" tab a list of TalkTalk files appear, i clicked on the security tab thinking it would be in there but it wouldnt allow me to open it it said i didn't have permission to do that so im totally lost as to what to do

I'm not sure if this is the actual problem, but there's some info on logging in as Admin here:

It might also be worth you looking on the Talk Talk forums to see if there's a recommended method of removing the software.
