Treated as a virus.

So i have played this game for few years now no problems. But with this new update the TERA.exe (game)is treated like a virus by my f-secure even though it isnt. How can i allow the exe to run because my f-secure keeps deleting it !

You can submit the .exe file to the F-Secure labs and they will whitelist it if clean:

If you're desperate to play the game before that happens, then I guess you could take the risk of disabling FS, providing you're sure it's safe, and that is all you're doing on the machine.

I think there was a way to set up an exception.

 

After you open the main manu, you go to 'Configuration'. Then 'Security Configuration', 'Antivirus Protection' and you should see at the bottom 'Exclude files from the analysis'.

 

The you look for the Objects tab, tick 'Exclude objects (files, folders...)' and add the folder of game.
