I've just renewed for a further 12 mnths and have noticed in advertising literature this includes free backup to a cloud is this correct and does it apply if your a virgin customer who gets a discount.How do you get it if this applies?

Unfortunately as a Virgin customer, YOUNITED product , is not included. 

Note that Virgin Media has its own dedicated backup solution available.
