reporting virusses that getting through...

Hej,

 

my protected (latest f secure) computer was infected somehow  with some malware..

 

Wonder how it happend. And why it wasnt detected by F secure.

A simple google search made clear that these are known malware virusses. 

So, why arent those detected?

 

And when stuf like this happens.. Where to report so it doesnt happen to others and in future.

I think its possible that those are 'adware', rather than viruses, so F-Secure wouldn't have detected them. Malewarebytes or ADWCleaner should get rid of them for you.

This kind of adwares/toolbars are often bundled with freewares.

Please refer to Simon's replies and contact our Lab (submitting a sample) for more details on these particular threats.

I figured out is was a kind of adware. I could read (on the net) it was potentialy dangerous.

No programs or toolbares were luckily installed. 

 

I guessed this was a kind of thread that was handled by a virusscanner. It being a thread to my computer security.
