Make third app for IS in launch pad - SAS app. So it will be kind of "premium rate anti-virus".

 

Make very simple GUI design(as usual), first window should be all known malware(with their definition)(use IS help GUI design for that window)(I guess it will be nice if users will get information online("cloudly"))(make this http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/labs_global/threats/classifications in the app).

Middle main window should be tasks - submit sample to SAS(https://analysis.f-secure.com/portal/login.html directly in the app), Submit spam samples to "smap center"(http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/labs_global/submit-samples/spam-submission directly in the app), check link for harmnesses(as you can't do that in Browsing Protection(untill you visit that webpage))(http://browsingprotection.f-secure.com/swp/ directly in the app), and some others.

Third window should be virus world map(http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/labs_global/world-map directly in the app).

 

Use community/SAS user to use SAS app, so all uploaded samples, messages and everything will be traveled between SAS and SAS user, thus IS user will not be required to check email for answer as it was before for SAS.

 

 

But in fact, SAS system should be little bit integrated into the virus scanning, e.g. everyone could send found generic samples to SAS.

Hi Janiashvili,

 

Thanks for your idea. F-Secure Sample Analysis System is used only by the most advanced and devoted users and adding that to all users would confuse the users that don’t actively use SAS. For that reason we have kept is as web-only application that our loyal users can use.

SAS is moved inside the product. You can already submit samples from the quarantine and we are adding Deepguard and URL samples next.
