Freedome stopped working, won't go beyond "connecting" (Android 4.4)

Alright, the service stopped working altogether last night may 4th. Been trying to set virtual location manually, turning features on and off and even wiping the app's data/cache. Even tried the trial. No luck at all! Is this from server's end and you guys are having some maintenance or is it just me? I don't remember doing something special to break my connection.
