Paying my car tax

I live in the UK and I have tried to pay for my car tax disc online. F-Secure seems to have forbidden the payment. To ensure the payment wen through I had to turn off the  Banking Protection. Should I have to do this or is there a way of changing the settings. The site I was paying my money to was a gov.uk.

Did the banking protection banner pop up when you tried to make the payment?

If you open Launch Pad, then go to Online Safety > Settings > Browsing Protection, then click the 'View web site exceptions' link at the bottom of that screen, you can add websites to the 'Allowed' list, which should (I believe) also allow them with Banking Protection on.

I beleive it did. Also the window turned blank and it said Forbidden on the tag at the top.
