Battery not charging after running the Online Scanner (WIN7)

Well, as stated in the headline, my laptop got a new feature right after I had run the Online Scanner.

The online scanner should have created a system restore point. Can you try a system restore to before you ran the scan?

I am a "computerwise challenged" person - How do I perform a system restore ?

I really do have to go now, but did you try a simple reboot after you noticed the problem?

I did reboot now, and charging is now on-going. While the reboot was being done, there was an update message (Do not turn off....) by Windows on the screen. So possibly that was the culprit...
