Updates your Firefox to version 27. Google Chrome. (Disable Java is a must!)

 

If you are still stuck with Java. Install a newer version once a new update patch for botnet is resolve.

 

Update Adobe Flash player. Adobe Reader. Adobe Shockwave Player.

 

Do software updates to your Operating system. Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, BSD etc.

 

Update all your security software, like you antivirus and any third party firewall.
