F-secure needs internet connection during installation; isn't that very insecure?

I tried to install F-secure without internet connection, but when I get to the point to accept the conditions, it tells me I need to connect to internet first.

I downloaded the FS installation file as an .exe file on my laptop. After that I disconnected from internet immediately to limit the time on internet with an unprotected laptop.

 

Just curious: isn't this basically very insecure? Especially when having some problems with installing FS, installation takes a long time and all this time my laptop is open to the internet!

If you are behind a router and have a software firewall running you should be fine if you are just waiting for F-Secure to download its files from its site. Just go and make a cup of coffee and 10 minutes later it should be installed.
