Download issue; windows 7

I just purchased F-secure internet security. The program installation failed with this error: "Your computer has a previous version that can not be upgraded. Please uninstall the previous version and run the set up again"

 

I cannot find this 'previous version' anywhere in my computer files...

 

What now?

Maybe you've previously had an ISP version of F-Secure? That's a renamed F-Secure product from your broadband provider. If so, un-install that product first.

 

Then run the Uninstallation Tool:

ftp://ftp.f-secure.com/support/tools/uitool/UninstallationTool.exe

Check if you have a program with this icon:

Also, check your system tray for such an icon, the bottom-right area of your screen, next to the clock with icons like speaker volume, network etc.
