wont install

Hi

As a virgin media customer, I am trying to download the internet security and when I click to install and add a device it wont then go any further.  I have uninstalled all virgin media programs and any other possible.

 

Can you advise?

Thanks for the reply but it doesnt even get that far as downlaoding, im asked to name device and then when you click add it say "error try again in a moment" unfortunately this has been going on for two days now.

You mean a webpage message telling you to try again in a moment? Sounds strange

 

I would try with entering a simple device name without any strange characters in it. If that doesn't work I would try with another browser(if you have a second browser). And if that doesn't work I would try from another computer.

Is the error message from Virginmedia? If so, I don't know how to help you unfortunately.

I'm not sure what that 'nodes' error means, but have you uininstalled Virgin Media?  If not, I can only suggest the procedure that we've been recommending, which is to first uninstall Virgin Media Security, using the uninstall tool found here:

Then install F-Secure via the download link and instructions given on the Virgin Media page.
