Installation from Virgin Media

Are there major problems transferring from VM? Mobile version loaded on Galaxy S3 OK but nothing on laptop, windows 7, chrome. Not happy with the layout of F-Secure. It's not very intuitive. I'm reasonable on computers but this is too complex and I'm thinking of trying another software.

Take a look at this thread I started over on the Virgin Media Forum; http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Internet-security/Installing-F-Secure-after-Virgin-Media-Security/td-p/2038886

Just make sure that you completely remove the previous AntiVirus before installing F-Secure Safe.

Not sure whether you have installed F-Secure or not by this statement.

Since you have taken a look at the layout I will assume you have installed ok. Compared to your previous AV, initially because it is new it will look a bit strange. But the Launch Pad is easy to use; just left-click on the tray icon to bring it up and then you can adjust the settings. Most of the time it's install and forget. http://community.f-secure.com/t5/Security-for-PC/What-is-the-launch-pad/ta-p/27736

Try it for a week or so and it will grow on you; stable, light in performance and one of the best malware detection rates. Add on great support by F-Secure and free for a year, mean F-Secure SAFE is a great deal.

  • must admit very confusing ' a plain and simple transfer should have been put in place a bad move from Virgin
