Install secure key to new PC.

I have recently bought a new PC and I have removed F-'secure (via windows) from my lap top.  Now I cannot install my security key to the new PC!! What have iIdone wrong?

Importantly, you have to be connected to the Internet so that the license on the new computer can be confirmed.

Not very well.  Because I had already removed the secure key (by uninstalling from programme files) i do not seem to be able to get it accepted on the new pC.

Has the program installed on the new PC?

 

Are you receiving an error message from within F-Secure?

 

tray icon>right click>View my Subscriptions

Yes the programme is installed but will not accept the securekey number.

What have you listed under "View my Subscriptions"?

I cannot see this!!

Right click on the F-Secure system tray icon or Open the F-Secure launch pad, right-click the F-Secure icon and select View my subscriptions.

 

In the My subscriptions window, you can check the status of your subscription.

many thanks for trying to help Blackcat.  F-Secure syas there is an issue with the key number!!  We need to wwait for a temporary number and reinstall.

You should be okay running the program in trial mode until you are fixed up with a new key.

 

What was the issue with the key number as this may be applicable to other users in the future.

Not sure yet - they will let us know within a month.  I will come back on when i have the 'official' answer and post it for all to see...
