Fssm32 Using all CPU when accessing Outlook Express

I have the F-Secure product that is provided by Charter Internet. 

 

All of a sudden in the last 3-4 days when I try to perform a send/receive of email using Outlook Express, the program freezes and usually times out before retrieving email  When I checked my CPU usage FSSM32 is using over 90% of the CPU and this happens every time I have emails to retrieve.  This has never been a problem in the past.

I have the same problem...a temporary solution is to turn off spam protection
