Automatic FS databases updates

Hi,

 

How can I switch off the automatic updates by FS, and instead, downlaod them manually?

 

The automatic updates regularly cause overflow of my **bleep** C, making the system crash. And it usually happens in the most inappropriate moments. I will be MUCH more convenient to download the updates manually, when there is a good moment for that.

edit: I do not see a easy way (normal settings) to disable the Update function.

Have you considered using disk management software that could resize your C drive?  Assuming you have available space on the other partition(s) on the disk, making more space on your C drive may alleviate your updates issue.  Here is a link to one example of the type of software which can do this, but there may be other alternatives available:
