network installer via proxy

Hi,

 

we have an F-Secure Antivirus 2013 network installer on a CD.

 

We have a proxy server that needs to be given a username/password combination to access the Internet.

How do I make this work with the network installer which has no option dialog or whatsoever?

    Unfortunately the product does not support authenticated proxies.

    You should inform the guy who answered [SR ID:1-568446995] about that...

     

    In case of proxies without authentication, does it use the proxy configured in Windows/IE then?

    Hi

     

    For the network installer, it uses the proxy configured in Internet Explorer. After the product is installed, you can open "Common settings" and configure proxy there. By default that also uses it from Internet Explorer.
