Cannot run latest version of Engarde while F-Secure is active
Hi all -
I'm using F-Secure Internet Security 2013 (up-to-date) on Windows 7 Pro (SP1, also up-to-date). Today I applied a mandatory update for the fencing competition software I use, Engarde (http://engarde-escrime.com/) - to version 9.561.
When I try to run the new version of Engarde, F-Secure pops up, immediately followed by a windows dialog with the message: "F-Secure Settings and Statistics has stopped working" (+ "Windows is checking for a solution to the problem..."). This box has a cancel button, but otherwise it just sits there and nothing further happens.
If I explicitly turn off DeppGuard in F-Secure IS, then things work ok.
Has anyone encountered anything similar, or do any of you have any advice for investigating this further?
