hello,i forgot my security code hence i'm unable to change the settings on my phone. the instructions to reset the security code are a bit confusing.hw do i send the SMS to my device,tried using the trusted number bt it isnt working,kindly assisy

Hi miller,

 

If you forgot your security code, you can reset it from the trusted number. Follow these instructions:

    1: Send SMS with the following message to your device: #UNLOCK# ,this will only work if sent from your Trusted Number.
    2: Your device sends the reset SMS message with instructions to the trusted number.
    3: Send the reset code from the trusted number to your device.
    4: Your device is unlocked and you can create a new security code.

 

If those instructions do not resolve the issue, please contact us so we could reset the the mobile password.

- Security Code reset have to be handled outside of the F-Secure Community.

Dear Hailan,

 

I was using oman no while i activated security code. Currenlty i'm on vacation in india and i tried changing my oman sim to india no and it showcased sim registration failed. I do know that it is due to F-secure. I want to de-activate this f-secure but i am unable to as i do not remember security code. If i use oman sim which i have not activated for roaming facility i can not get that message either. I would request you to  help me out to come out of this mess. I want to use this Indian sim in my Nokia N8..
