Gadgets not working

My desktop gadgets stopped working after installing Internet Security 2013. My OS is Windows 7.

    All of them stopped working. Normally I use a clock and a calendar. Clock displays a black solid bar and calendar doesn't activate at all. I removed the gadgets in control panel and re-installed them after re-booting the computer but it did not change anything. F-Secure gadget displays a question mark. I also tried couple others but they don't work either. I also tried turning the Intenet Security off but it didn't change anything.
