network installer.exe f secure internet security 2012 aborted, strange because my config is ok

I have a problem with f secure internet security 2012, the network installer don't work completly in my uncle pc, i try to install many times but each times i have the message installation aborted "error trigger".

 

I don t understand because the configuration is ok and windows is to date.

 

config

 

windows xp familial sp3
cpu 2.8ghz amd athlon
gpu nvidia g force
ram 2 go
hdd 250 go

 

i contact the f secure support for to have the executable file, because the network installer don't run but, i have no answer... help me please

 

ps : the installation require microsoft silverlight or another microsoft package, frame work etc???

Hi vaskez,

 

Firstly, check if your system have these updates installed:

 

1. Windows Installer 4.5.

2. DotNet Framework 4.0.

3. Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package.

 

4. Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package.

5. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.

 

Ensure that there is no pending Windows updates.Then download and run the F-Secure Internet Security 2012 network installer again.

 

There are no other installer than the network installer above, find more about network installer on our Support news.
