fsdbupdate9.exe will not execute correctly.

I am having a problem with the fsdbupdate9.exe file running on my computer.  When I run the program in a command prompt window, I get:

C:\Users\TestVM3\Desktop>fsdbupdate9.exe
F-Secure Update Installer (8.26 build 5309)
Copyright (c) F-Secure Corporation 2008. All rights reserved.

-? for help

ERROR: could not locate destination path (AVA8 installation)

How do you fix this error?  Is there a specific folder I need to run it from.  I have already tried running it from many directories in F-Secure Folder in Program files. I have tried

C:\Program Files\F-Secure\

C:\Program Files\F-Secure\apps\

C:\Program Files\F-Secure\apps\ComputerSecurity\

C:\Program Files\F-Secure\apps\ComputerSecurity\Anti-Virus\

So far it hasn't run correctly in any of these folders.  Any help would be appreciated.

My goal is to create an automated system to update and scan my system, but it has to execute through a batch file.  I was thinking about something like:

@echo off
cd "C:\Program Files\F-Secure"
fsdbupdate9.exe
cd "C:\Program Files\F-Secure\apps\ComputerSecurity\Anti-Virus"
fsav.exe C: /DELETE /NOBREAK /REPORT="C:\Users\%Userprofile%\Desktop\log.log"

If it helps, I am running Windows 7 Pro 32.

I always do it manually since I can't find a way to do it automatically. I have tried this one and get the same result. image

I'm sorry, I am not quite sure I understand you.  Does the fsdbupdate work for you? If it doesn't, do you have any other ideas for a manual update that can be executed via command line?  If it does work for you, then which directory should I execute the file from?

    Thanks
