Users on PREPAID cellular internet connections

F-secure 2012 doesn't work for me as a frequent user of PREPAID cellular internet connections.
Details can be found here: F-secure 2012 - On PREPAID Internet connection - Automatic Updates can't be turned off
I strongly suggest to re-invoke the 2011 implementation for "automatic updates",
A simple manual control to turn it off, with notifications when updates are there.
This for 3 reasons;
- Cost control. Every MB up/downloaded counts - above that in ROAMING mode, MB's are very expensive.
- Speed control. Celluar internet can still be GPRS/EDGE (2 - 2.5G) based. This is way too slow for updates
- Simplicity. Don't use complex connection detection, it's hard to tell if one is using DSL or Celluar based internet
I downgraded to F-secure 2011, if F-secure 2012 and onwards keeps the current implementation I'll look elsewhere.
Cheers!

Thanks Indra for for having provided your idea input.
This will be processed in the next round when the specific solution manager is available after the summer holidays.

Thx Sami -
I assume the new 2012 update is only available in Windows 7. Not in Vista or the much more stable Windows XP SP3 version.
I use Windows XP SP3 - and will only migrate to W7 if I'm absolutely sure it will support periphiral devices I'm using on a daily basis. This is not the case - W7 forces me to buy new equipment.
Above that the "Please update" to F-secure 2012 notification approx every 2 hours is extremely annoying and is slowly getting to a level I will abandon ship.
I already submitted a 2011 change request for the notification in FS 2011 to add a "don't ask me again" button - however it was put aside by F-secure.
