Local devices connectivity with VPN

There seems to be a probable with local devices using my cell phone with the local device option enabled.

Samsung soundbar setup and configuration, Android Auto in my car....

I went head and added the Samsung Sound, SmartThings and Android Auto to the VPN selection list.
