Installation problems

I have installed F-secure on my laptop, 2 Iphones and one Ipad. The fifth is intended for my wife laptop. I sent her the email some time ago, but could not install because 32 bit system (old Machine). Now she ha a new one. When I try to invite her via the same email as last time the system tell me I already have done so and I cannot get pass that point. What to do?

    Hello,

    There are some options. It may depend on the F-Secure solution you are using.

    For example, it is F-Secure TOTAL.

    You should try logging into the portal (My F-Secure), finding the "invited" user, and deleting them. Then invite them again. Perhaps your wife could do this too, if the invitation wasn't just for adding a device, but as an invited user (guest) with their own account (credentials).

    OR to do it via your installation. On your laptop or iOS operating system, there may be a "People & Devices" card or feature in the main user interface of the F-Secure app. Where you can manage 'existed' users (like deleting them).

    If you cannot do it via this routine. Is it possible to choose another email address (or using "plus" sign as an alias for tried email address - if you need an explanation, just ask me what I mean). Or even did not invite your wife (like creating invited user or 'another user'), but choose it as you send email for 'yourself'. Basically - her laptop just need an installation file, 'licence' code and 'credentials' (which could be yours for your My F-Secure portal).

    If something has already changed or you can't use any steps above, give a feedback about what step you're stuck at so it will be possible to figure out the easiest way to sort the situation.

    Probably your wife received an email with credentials for My F-Secure portal/account. From where it is possible to get installer right on her machine/laptop and proceeded with installation.
