Recently, I noticed on your official website that F-Secure plans to support Windows 10 until January 2028. While I understand that operating systems eventually reach their end-of-life, I would like to sincerely request that your team consider extending F-Secure's compatibility and support for Windows 10 beyond this deadline.

Currently, many users, including myself, are highly hesitant to upgrade to Windows 11 due to the numerous widespread system instabilities and performance issues reported globally. As a Windows 10 user, staying on a stable operating system is crucial for my daily productivity, and F-Secure has been my core defense in keeping this environment safe.

Given the current situation with Windows 11, there will likely still be a substantial number of users relying on Windows 10 for safety and stability even after 2028. I earnestly hope that F-Secure can take this into consideration and continue to safeguard loyal users like us who prefer to stay on Windows 10.

NOW WORTH NOTING:
Microsoft has quietly announced that Windows 10's Extended Support Updates program will be extended for an additional year, now until October 2027, for free, if you sign in to Windows 10 with a Microsoft account.

Originally, Windows 10's Extended Support program was only supposed to last for one year for consumers, until October 2026. However, a new support page published by Microsoft on June 25th has confirmed that the Windows 10 ESU program will now last until October 2027.

It's possible that Microsoft has extended Windows 10 support for another year due to the ongoing "RAM crisis" that has skyrocketed the prices of new PCs, making them difficult to justify financially, especially if you already have a working Windows 10 PC.

Hundreds of millions of computers globally are still running Windows 10, and since Extended Support originally ended in October, many people would have been left without the latest security patches to protect their devices.

As mentioned above, all Windows 10 users who are already enrolled in the ESU program will automatically receive these extra years of updates. You can enroll in the program for free by signing in with a Microsoft account.

The good news is that if you are already enrolled in the program, you don't need to do anything to stay supported until October 2027. Your computer will automatically receive security updates until that date.

FINALLY: No one knows... will there be a 3rd year?
