I just want to get into my vault (if it still exists). I somehow "screwed up" my account and cannot access it. I am willing to start over from scratch since I have a "paper" list (just in case my laptop went caput). How do I get started again?

    Hello,

I just want to get into my vault (if it still exists). I somehow "screwed up" my account and cannot access it. I am willing to start over from scratch since I have a "paper" list (just in case my laptop went caput). How do I get started again?

It would be better to get more details about your situation. Are you talking about participating in a beta program (since we are under 'Home Security Beta Programs' board of Community)?

If so, there is an active current landing page for (re)joining: https://www.f-secure.com/en/fs-protection

Otherwise, do you mean only specific solution like Password Vault or ID Protection or whatever; rather than the full F-Secure protection suite? In general, if your previous / old storage / vault is not destroyed or deleted - it is still can be accessible locally within your filesystem.

If you then install some modern app (like mentioned beta solution) - it should autodetect it and offer to you 'export'/'back up" it or "use it". You need know your master password.

Anyway, sorry for a bit of generic comment. Can you provide a bit more context for a better advice. Or see if mentioned points above are enough to sort your situation.

    Thanks!
