    Hello @Iréne_Edvardsson68

On your F-Secure portal, do you have the option at the top with Subscription, then if you tick that brings you to this page (2nd image) where you can tick the "Manage your subscriptions" drop down options?

If so, and you're on a auto-renewal, it should give you the option to enable manual renewal which will disable/cancel the auto-renewal process.

But, there may have been different payment/subscription options that were available, if so, please post back as a more advanced member here could possibly help you. Otherwise, I would contact Support from the options listed on this link who can help you as well.

Just in case, in addition to the reply above:

"How to end or cancel my F-Secure subscription?" - knowledge base article about subject.

The Online Guide for 'F-Secure Total' also confirms the above answer.

So, if, in addition to canceling a subscription, you also need to delete your account, or, say, you've already been unnecessary charged and need to request a refund, the KB article provides tips on what to do in this situation.

// some unrelated stuff and how I interpret current design:

    • If your subscription is set to auto-renew, you can switch it to manual renewal. This way, when your license/subscription expires, it's effectively "cancelled."
    • If your subscription is set to "manual renewal," cancellation occurs when it fails to renew. If you want to cancel sooner and lose your active and remaining days, you can delete your account.
    • If you have been charged (for example, by mistake or due to an unwanted automatic renewal), you will need to call/contact customer support and request/ask a refund.

There are likely also some GDPR compliance options for further data cleanup, if by "cancel my subscription" someone means something more than just not be charged further or stop paying (if the subscription is monthly).

If the subscription was purchased for a mobile device through a system store (like the Google Play Store for Android), of course if this is still possible, then the subscription can probably also be cancelled through the mechanism used in Android/iOS for subscriptions as per any other app.
