    Hello,

    maybe more information is needed.

By Manual scan - did you mean any 'type' of scanning, for example, if macOS has multiple scan types available? Such as, a quick virus scan from UI; context scan for a certain file or folder, and so on?

At what exact 'point' stopped? Is it a certain percentage or some kind of scanned "resource"?

also, "stopps without completing" mean there is a visual stuck? Or is it something like an "unexpected" stop mid-scan and so 'not fully completed', but ended as such?

// is it possible to suggest to try reinstall F-Secure application? In case the OS update broke something internally. if your F-Secure solution is TOTAL, then How to reinstall F-Secure TOTAL on Mac, but first make sure that things like passwords or data in Password Vault are successfully saved somewhere else and backed up.

    Thanks!

I have the same problem in Tahoe. Checking stops in Library Containers. I removed f-prot and reinstalled it. Problem still exists .

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi, thanks for reporting this.

Just to check, are you still experiencing the same issue where the manual scan stops at the same point after updating to macOS Tahoe 26.0.1, or has there been any change since then?

If the issue is ongoing, please also let us know:

    • The F-Secure app version installed
    • Whether the scan always stops at exactly the same file or percentage
    • If restarting the Mac or reinstalling the app made any difference

This information will help us investigate further. Thanks in advance for the update!
