Download of new virus definition fails

I'm on a Windows 11 PC. At the top right corner of the desktop app, tick on the person icon, from the drop down click on Log out, then relog back in using your account information. Restart your PC, try running the manual update from the right-click system tray icon and see if that helps.
It looks like you tried what was suggested from the below article? If you're still having the issue, try contacting offline support as this has been an issue for others, and they may have a newer strategy to resolve this for you.
