When Windows 10 support goes away

Hello @p_1049D
I'm not sure of what SmartSuite is, is it a rebranded version for F-Secure that your ISP provides? If so, I don't how that works in tandem with the F-Secure webstore versions.
As for the F-Secure webstore versions of Internet Security and Total Security, the 64-bit versions are still supported for Windows 10, but not for the 32-bit versions. When that changes (64-bit EOL), it will be announced on the forum. Chat support just confirmed this as well, so the reply below still applies. It also mentioned regarding the risks of Windows 10 no longer receiving security patches.
Currently, there is no specific end-of-life date for F-Secure to end support for the 64-bit version of Windows 10, but compatibility can evolve with updates or changes in either the operating system or F-Secure products.
It's recommended to check periodically for updates from F-Secure regarding compatibility and make sure you're using the most recent version of their software for continued protection
We also encourage you to visit our Community Portal for the most up-to-date information regarding our F-Secure products.
EOL notice of the 32-bit version:
What does this mean?
As of September 30, 2024, there are no product upgrades for computers running 32-bit versions of Windows 10. Additionally, you are now no longer be able to reinstall the product on 32-bit versions of Windows 10. The last supported version for Windows 32-bit systems is 19.6. However, currently installed versions will continue to receive virus database updates until May 31, 2025.
A more advanced member or Mod may eventually reply regarding the version you mentioned.
Cheers :)

@p_1049D SmartSuite can certainly add an extra layer of protection to your Windows 10 desktop computer, but it cannot fully make up for the fact that Microsoft will eventually end support for Windows 10. Once Microsoft stops providing security updates, vulnerabilities in the operating system itself will no longer be patched, which means attackers can target flaws that no antivirus or security suite can completely defend against. For now, while Windows 10 is still supported, running SmartSuite alongside keeping your system updated, using a strong browser with phishing protection, and practicing safe habits (like not clicking suspicious links or attachments) is generally enough to keep you safe, especially if you only use the computer for email and online banking. However, once official support ends in October 2025, the risk of staying on Windows 10 will grow over time, regardless of the security software you use, because outdated operating systems become increasingly vulnerable. If your hardware supports it, upgrading to Windows 11 will ensure you continue to receive critical security updates, making it the safer long-term choice. If you prefer to remain on Windows 10 after support ends, you should limit internet use, avoid sensitive tasks like online banking, and consider using a separate device for financial activities.
