    Could you please provide more details about the banking website where the Banking Protection does not activate? Additionally, let us know which device you are experiencing this issue on.

    For your information, in the latest F-Secure app (version 25.4), you can enable Banking Protection manually as a temporary workaround while we review the URL.

    I have noticed no green line surrounding screen when I go into any banking site on my computer.

    Am I being protected by FSecure???

    Most likely, this may mean that the browser you are using does not have the F-Secure extension (addon) to support extra and advanced functionality.

    However, it is best to follow earlier reply with the official KB article about known troubles or limitations, as well as steps to ensure that all is right with Banking Protection: https://www.kb.f-secure.com/s/article/Banking-Protection-banner-does-not-work-or-appear-when-I-visit-a-banking-site?language=en_US

    But, again, there is a need to know what is your operating system (platform), web-browsers and F-Secure solution.

    In general, you could try to open F-Secure user interface and see what is the status of your protection (https://help.f-secure.com/product.html#home/total-windows/latest/en/concept_19AF5B13E44F40A89DB0C2FB3669D7A5-latest-en); Then, you could try to use safe test URLs to ensure that Browsing Protection working as expected: https://www.kb.f-secure.com/s/article/Windows-MacOS-Android-iOS-Testing-Browsing-and-Tracking-Protection-with-safe-URLs?language=en_US

    And, for general protection, there are two places/things: EICAR (https://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/eicar.shtml) and AMTSO (https://www.f-secure.com/sw-desc/amtso-testfile.shtml), which resources can be used to see if F-Secure reacts on their tests as expected.

    I am 80 years old and have over the years learnt to manage computer related issues. However your speak is too hard for me to follow. Would your grandparents follow this technology. As I have said for some time a green line has surrounded my computer when I activate banking. In recent weeks this has stopped. Nothing has changed this end so why am I not confident FSecure is giving me protection. I am paying for it until March 2026 so please give me a simple answer. Thankyou.

    If there is no green frame line - then in most cases - you are not protected by F-Secure's Banking Protection feature. This is the simple answer.

    However, this does not necessarily mean that F-Secure does not provide protection for your system as such.

    If to try to fix the situation and return the green frame - could you try first installing (or checking that they are installed) addon/extensions of the web browser you use.
