Install F-Secure on a Windows 7 machine

I do need to run F-Secure on a computer running on Windows 7. (This is a side machine used for certain purpuses with programmes installed I cannot transfer to other Windows.) Is there a way to install F-Secure on this machine, although they built something into the installer to prevent this? Can this block be circumvented? Or do I have to use a different VPN service?

Kind regards
Sofia

    Hello,

I am also only an F-Secure user.

Apart from the fact that they, as a cyber security company, stop supporting some platform for obvious reasons (KB article), I think that the restrictions imposed by F-Secure on system requirements are not just a whim. Most likely, the technologies used are also simply not supported on systems like Windows 7. So, likely, even if to "remove" sort of compatibility checks, the application will not work or will be very unstable.

To find (or to install) and somehow run older builds of solution most likely will not bring any special results either. Since the infrastructure could have already ceased to be supported (such as this and / or this).

Maybe I am wrong, so good if someone more experienced will comment on subject

    Thanks.
