Scammers send fake emails or texts pretending to be from the IRS, banks, or tax services. These messages often use AI to look official and may even include your real name and address to appear more convincing. ❗Remember: The IRS will never contact you via email or text out of the blue, If you’re unsure, visit the IRS website or call their official number directly.

🔹 Imposter Calls & Deepfake Voices

Scammers spoof caller IDs to make it seem like the IRS, a bank, or a tax preparer is calling. Some even use AI deepfake voices to impersonate officials and demand immediate payment. 📁Fact: The IRS does not call to demand payment or threaten jail time. Hang up and report the call.
