    Hello @Tom72

Welcome to the F-Secure Community. Thank you for your question.

At the moment, our community forum supports only English and Finnish. However, regarding your question about engine updates, there is an ongoing discussion on the topic. You can find it here: V25.2 simplified update information

To summarize, a separate download is no longer required. The "F-Secure NIF Web" will remain visible for about seven days before disappearing automatically due to technical limitations.

Regarding the issue where the app continues to prompt you for a restart despite your efforts, we recommend collecting logs so we can investigate further. I have sent you a private message with instructions on how to do this. Once we receive the logs, we will analyze the issue and update you on our findings.

If you'd like to try a quick troubleshooting step in the meantime, you can use the Uninstallation Tool to remove the app and reinstall it. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article: Wie deinstalliere ich F-Secure-Produkte mit dem Deinstallationstool für Windows?

Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
