DeepGuard breaks Elder Scrolls Online after the 24H2 update

After the Windows 11 24H2 update, when I tried to play the Elder Scrolls Online game, I was unable to do anything with my character. Neither keyboard nor mouse movements had any effect; in fact, I had to resort to Task Manager to return to the desktop.

That was several weeks ago, and I was able to recover by rolling back the 24H2 update, but, sadly, that is no longer possible. Today, I wondered whether DeepGuard might be the cause of this problem, since I'd had problems playing games with it before. So I turned it off, and now the game works.

Can F-Secure find a fix for this? I don't like running without DeepGuard, but I will if I have to. I only use Windows for playing games anyway.

    Hello @rjmx

    Thank you for your question.

It looks like DeepGuard may be blocking the game. We recommend excluding the file to resolve the issue. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article: Excluding files or folders from scanning

Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
